Contract Amount: $1,995,458
Completion Date: January 2009
The Shop and Tech Office at Yatahey, a new 5,000 square foot Pre-Engineered Building, was constructed for an Office and Warehouse. The project included civil, architectural, structural, plumbing, mechanical and electrical work, as well as extensive utility work which included a 1-1/2 mile waterline and the installation of a septic system. The pre-engineered building is 2,320 square feet of fully finished office space and 2,680 square feet of warehouse space that included a 1,200 square foot mezzanine. The civil work covered the installation of a 535 foot-long entrance road, approximately 40,000 square feet of asphalt paving and 3,960 square feet of covered parking.
Installation of the waterline required crossing NM 491 and NM 264, resulting in boring under the roads so as not to interrupt traffic. Also included was the installation of a 10,000 gallon water tank to feed the building. Construction allowed for roughly three months to complete all civil and utility work and dry the building in before winter.
