The Starbucks on Wyoming & Menaul was an Interior Build-Out of an existing 1650 sf. exterior shell.

The project included the installation of all the plumbing and electrical underground rough-ins which required saw cutting the existing Concrete Slab-On-Grade and excavation to tie into the utilities that were stubbed 4’ into the building in the shell construction.

Interior walls were then framed and the plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems were roughed in and topped out. Next came the installation of the interior finishes which included the installation of gypsum board, painting and extensive ceramic tile and casework.

The final touch was to install all the equipment needed to operate a coffee shop along with all the furnishings which included the artwork, outside and inside seating and store displays.

This project required elaborate coordination with the Starbucks Coffee Company construction management team to ensure the delivery and installation of the owner provided materials was completed in the time requirement of 8 weeks. The equipment package provided by Starbucks included all brewers, verisimos, food cases, reach-in freezers/refrigerators, under counter refrigerators, ice makers, sinks and shelving.

The casework package on the project included all base cabinets, cubbies, product display cases and counter tops. The project also required the coordination of the installation of the Closed Circuit TV and Security systems.
